After celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary at the Iowa Freedom Rally up in Algona, Iowa on July 2nd, 2008, we were very saddened to find out that Darlene passed away January 9th from heart complications, just shy of her 68th birthday.
Truly Mom to all who knew her, she was a pioneer in setting the bar for we Ladies that ride! She will be Greatly Missed and we would like to give the entire Carda Family our Deepest Sympathies. She is now riding with Angels on the highways paved of gold!
We may have said Good-Bye on a Sunny -22 degree day, but Darlene's Harley was there by her side rumbling to the Heavens! Her Devoted Husband Larry, along with one of her 11 beautiful Grandchildren say Farewell.
